Our 4 Day Kathmandu Pokhara Tour begins in Kathmandu, which in addition to being the capital of Nepal, is also the nation’s historical and cultural center. As we can only explore so much in a single day, our tour will take us to the major UNESCO World Heritage sites of Kathmandu. Pashupatinath is one of the holiest Hindu temple that attracts hundreds of thousands of pilgrims every year, particularly during the festive occasions of Teej and Shivaratri. Boudhanath, one of the largest stupas in the world, also holds immense cultural and religious significance for Buddhists. Swayambhunath is a hill top stupa complex, whose origin is tied to the origin of life in the valley itself by history as well as myths. The Kathmandu, Patan and Bhaktapur Durbar are the old palaces of the capital and they serve as amazing examples of old Nepali architecture to this day.

The second part of our tour will be in Pokhara, which we will reach via a full day of driving from Kathmandu. Pokhara, more or less, is the center of tourism in Nepal thanks to the captivating natural beauty. Our tour in the lakeside city starts with a pre-dawn drive to Sarangkot, where we will be treated to a stunning sunrise view of various snowcapped peaks including Annapurna, Machhapuchhare, Dhaulagiri, Hiunchuli and more! The rest of our time in Pokhara will be spent exploring the various popular locations throughout the city such as World Peace Pagoda. Davis Falls, Mahendra Cave, Tal Barahi temple, Gupteshwor Mahadev Temple/Caves and more.
